We ask for your name
Not to scribble it on a paper cup. Because we'd like to know who you are. The best thing that happens to us is somebody walking back in.

Indonesian single origin coffee and honest Indo bites, on the Jan Evertsenstraat. Pull up a chair — you're not in a hurry here.
Open Tuesday – Sunday, 7:00 – 17:00
The name
Mamasa is a region in the highlands of Sulawesi. It's also the name we gave this place, because it stands for the things we grew up with: warmth, community, and being who you are without explaining yourself.
We're two founders with a shared Indonesian background, and this is the coffee bar we always wanted to walk into. Quality coffee, real Indo flavours, and a room that feels lived in rather than styled.
No industrial concrete, no glamour. Natural materials, handmade details, warm tones — the kind of coffee bar you find in Jakarta, Bandung or Bali, where coffee is a social ritual rather than a transaction.
We want to be the living room of the neighbourhood. Everyone is welcome here, whatever brings you in.
More than a coffee bar. A place where people meet, feel at home, and share what they're up to.
Not to scribble it on a paper cup. Because we'd like to know who you are. The best thing that happens to us is somebody walking back in.
Bring your laptop, we don't mind. But we'd rather you took twenty minutes for yourself than another twenty for your inbox. A coffee is a good excuse to sit still.
We're new and we're listening. If something is off, say it. If something is good, say that too — it's how this place gets better.
Serious coffee at a fair price. That's the whole trick.
The bean
Indonesian single origin, roasted for us by Spot On Coffeeroasters. Right now that's Aceh Tengah from Sumatra: roasted nuts and hazelnut up front, dried fruit and orange behind it, dark chocolate underneath, and an aftertaste that stays around a while.
It's a full, buttery cup with body — the kind of coffee that holds up with milk and still tells you where it came from black.
Next to espresso and filter we pour the Indonesian classics: kopi tubruk, es kopi susu, and a pandan iced coffee that tastes like the tropics.
